Residential Appraiser Site Valuation and Cost Approach

Credit info: *NEW Course - 2008 Compliant. This course has been approved by MA, ME, NH, RI and VT for 15 hours of qualifying and 14 hours of continuing education residential credit. It is also approved by CT for 15 hours of qualifying education only.
This course provides students with a basic understanding of the procedures and methodology used in site valuation and the development of the cost approach. The course is divided into two sections: Part A covers the six methods that can be used in the development of an estimate of site value. The purpose of an assignment may be site valuation; however, it is the critical first step in the cost approach taught in the second section. Part B covers the methods used in accurately estimating the value of an improved property using the cost approach.
